Top 5 Industrial Disributor Companies To Watch For 2014

Natural gas producer�Chesapeake Energy (NYSE: CHK  ) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.0875�per share, the same rate it's paid since 2011.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 31 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 15. The nat gas producer has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1997.�

The board also declared dividends on four series of preferred shares as follows:

4.5% convertible preferred, which trades on the NYSE under the symbol�CHK PrD, of�$1.125 per share, payable on Sept. 16 to holders of record on Sept.�3. 5% Series 2005B�convertible preferred of�$1.25 per share payable on Aug. 15 to holders of record on Aug. 1. 5.75% non-voting convertible preferred�of�$14.375 per share payable on Aug. 15 to holders of record on Aug. 1. 5.75% Series A non-voting convertible preferred of $14.375 per share payable on Aug. 15 to holders of record on Aug. 1.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.35-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.7% based on the closing price of Chesapeake Energy's stock on June 14.

    Turkiye Garanti (GARAN) Bankasi AS, the largest Turkish lender by market value, led gains on the Borsa Istanbul National 100 Index, which rose 1.5 percent. Garanti climbed 1.3 percent after slumping 4.1 percent to the lowest level since Sept. 13 yesterday. The government is selling $1.25 billion of five-year Islamic bonds today, according to a person with direct knowledge of the transaction, who asked not to be identified because the information is private.

The Company�� pipeline systems transport natural gas in the United States. The Partnership is managed by the Company�� General Partner, which is an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of TransCanada. The Company has equity ownership interests in four natural gas interstate pipeline systems. The Company�� pipeline systems include Great Lakes, Northern Border, GTN, Bison, North Baja and Tuscarora.
